View a Gift Card Class

To view the details and configuration properties of a Gift Card Class:

  1. Select Transactions from the top navigation bar, then select Settings > Gift Card Classes from the side navigation menu. The Gift Card Classes screen is displayed.

  2. Search for and select the desired Gift Card Class (see Search for a Gift Card Class for more information on the available search options). The Gift Card Class Details screen is displayed, with the Definition tab selected.

  1. The header and the tabs on this screen allow you to view various configuration details. See below for details on each of these areas.

The header area of the Gift Card Class Details screen displays many of the high-level properties of this Gift Card Class, including its name, description, and Gift Card Class Category. For more information on editing these properties, see Edit Gift Card Class Properties.

From the header area, you can copy a Gift Card Class to use as the basis for a new Gift Card Class. See Create a Gift Card Class for more information.

Also from the header area, you can delete a Gift Card Class. See Delete a Gift Card Class for more information.

Definition Tab

The Definition tab of the Gift Card Class Details screen displays many of the configuration options and properties available for this Gift Card Class. See Configure Gift Card Class Definition for more information.

Display Tab

The Display tab allows you to define the content of the Gift Card Class as it appears to Members on your website or in your app. See Getting Started with the Content Editor for more information.

You can also preview the content to verify that it's rendering correctly. See Preview Gift Card Class Content for more information.

Advanced Options Tab

The Advanced Options tab of the Gift Card Class Details screen allows you to configure a range of advanced properties related to the Gift Card Class. See Configure Gift Card Class Advanced Options for more information.

Gift Cards Tab

The Gift Cards tab of the Gift Card Class Details screen displays a list of all issued Gift Cards within this Gift Card Class. For each Gift Card, the platform displays the card number, Member name (if linked to a Member Profile), status, Usage Period, and current balance.

Click the card number to navigate to the Gift Card Details screen. See View a Gift Card for more information.

If the Gift Card has been linked to a Member Profile, click the Member's name to navigate to the Member Details screen. See View Member Details for more information.

Activities Tab

The Activities tab of the Gift Card Class Details screen displays the transaction history for all Gift Cards assigned to this Gift Card Class. This tab shows purchases made using the Gift Card, as well as other system actions, such as linking the card to a Member Profile, activating the card, or manually adjusting the card's balance.

Used By Tab

The Used By tab of the Gift Card Class Details screen provides a list of other assets within your account that reference this Gift Card Class.
